After several watchful intervals and with repairs to the membrane successfully completed once again, anticipation rose high among the quarry's gel creatures. All of them gathered about, their silky eyes staring ahead. A few days before, a container of sorts-much like a giant walnut-had fallen to the oasis floor. It had formed from a bulge that had emerged on the outside of the tubular. It had grown hard and podlike. Once dried, it broke off. It was about one-and-a-half times the height of Jerish. A split had formed down the center and started to spread. How would Axreal and Jerish emerge?
Torbot felt wonderment and thought to himself how extravagant life had to have once been on Eclipsia, what abundance there must have been, what incredible life forms might have existed but now were lost for all eternity. Their special unique gifts, contributions, and possible abilities lost to the past, present, and future. If the Setiacotions were any example, life on Eclipsia must have once been phenomenal. The entire world must have been one great garden.

"I like strong beats with sad little lullabies on top. I love the implementation of heavy bass in songs that give you the opportunity to feel the music as well as hear it. My main interest is hearing and creating sounds and music that no one has heard before. My music doesn't want to fit in. My music wants to break through."-Orin Sheffied

Review of Eclipsia by Dr. Ruby Moon-Houldson 12/12/2009 Roddenberry.com click logo:
G.L. GILES REVIEW OF ECLIPSIA.... This novel is billed as a “riveting Sci-Fi read” on the front cover, and I believe it lived up to it as far as being a fascinating read. Certain themes are woven into the storyline nicely as well: themes such as the importance of self-reliance, dignity for all life forms, perseverance, etc. Yet, the reader isn’t browbeaten by the moral lessons; instead, they’re woven into the plot fairly seamlessly. One thing I personally enjoyed about this sci-fi novel is that the primary characters were easy to keep up with as their unique talents and physical descriptions enabled me to tell them apart and not lose track of who was who and what was going on. Sometimes sci-fi stories can lose readers if their world of frequently exotic locales and characters isn’t well-established to start with. I was never lost reading this, unless you count losing myself in the storyline at times. The story primarily centers around the characters of Axreal and Jerish who, along with many others, have been born into servitude on their planet, Eclipsia. Adding insult to injury, their planet has also been stripped of many of its natural resources by the greedy Lam Warons. I think many readers will also be able to relate to this book which promotes an Eclipsian version of the Save-Mother-Earth motif. G.L. Giles ©2009

-Once I picked it up, it had me hooked. I also came to care about Jerish and Axreal right away, but the supporting characters were just as important to the story. Lorese was my favorite character, her situation touched me. My heart broke for her. And of course CreXan was the coolest "bad guy" since Kahn! But no comparison here. Eclipsia is new, fresh, and a book that is worth reading again. . . until the sequel comes out. Long live Jerish, Axreal. . . and ECLIPSIA! -D. Sisneros
-Hey Robert, too funny, this is almost like a Betty Davis movie in some parts! " I'd rather die, you vile nasty creature! What makes you think, I'd go any where with you, let alone another planet!" LOL, it's almost like Betty Davis in Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, where Betty says to Olivia de Havillon, "YOU'RE A VILE SORRY LIL . . . "-Daniel O.
